Safety inspection of crude oil containers - notification according to the notice from the Office of the Styrian State Government:

We would like to inform you that, as part of our preventive environmental protection measures, another safety inspection will be carried out on a crude oil tank at the Lannach tank farm. For this reason, this tank is scheduled to be cleaned between September 8 until approximately CW 48.

During the necessary tasks such as transferring the oil to another tank, cleaning the interior of the tank and using a flare to reduce odor emissions, there may be temporary odor nuisances.

As in the past, we always strive to minimize any impact on the public and the environment during these operations, which is why we use the latest technologies in our activities.

Should minor odor nuisances still occur, we will ensure that they are kept as brief as possible.
